We are building technology specifically designed for Black and brown people in poverty and low-income communities who need to understand, work with, and leverage AI to transform their lives.
The reality is stark: AI systems today are trained primarily on data from affluent, white, Western contexts. Facial recognition fails to see Black faces accurately. Language models don't understand African American Vernacular English. Hiring algorithms perpetuate discrimination.
Our solution is revolutionary: We're building the AI Black API—a culturally intelligent layer that sits on top of major AI systems like Anthropic, OpenAI, Grok, and Gemini.
But technology alone isn't enough. We're simultaneously building a workforce pipeline that takes people from AI literacy all the way to AI engineering.
